[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Russia has been condemned and sanctioned by Europe and the United States for invading Ukraine, but instead of showing weakness, they have repeatedly played tough and intimidating cards.

Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian president and current vice-chairman of the Federal Security Council, has said that if Russia loses the battle in Ukraine, it could trigger a nuclear war.

"Reuters" reported that Medvedev was one of Putin's inner circle confidants, and he kept making hawkish remarks during the invasion of Ukraine.

In a post on social media, he warned that "the failure of nuclear powers in non-nuclear wars could lead to nuclear wars," emphasizing that "nuclear powers have never lost a major fateful conflict."

In addition, the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church also stated in his Epiphany sermon that trying to destroy Russia would mean the end of the entire world.
