Russia and Ukraine will suffer colossal losses in the war, so sooner or later everything will come to the negotiating table and relevant decisions will be made.

This was stated by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the USA, General Mark Milley, at a press conference following the results of the meeting in Ramstein on January 20.

In particular, he confirmed the data of the Ukrainian General Staff about the losses of the Russian Federation, amounting to more than 100,000.

"When we talk about the number of wounded, injured, dead, of course, this is a war, and we understand that the numbers will be large. Also, we already see what the losses of the Russians are - and

this is more than 100 thousand - this is a very large number. And for Russia it is simply unimaginable.

Here we are talking about the Russian army, the Russian military, as well as the so-called "Wagnerians". Indeed, they will suffer huge and colossal losses," said Milli.

He also reminded that Russia announced the conscription of 300,000 people during the next stage of mobilization, "but we understand that in reality the number of those mobilized is much higher."

The general expressed hope that Ukraine will regain all its territories, and that sooner or later the parties will sit down at the negotiating table.

"

Ukraine also suffers huge losses.

We see how many innocent lives are taken by the Russian war, because Russia is hitting critical infrastructure objects, residential areas. And there are also a lot of injured and dead soldiers of the Ukrainian army. Therefore, both sides of the conflict suffer colossal losses. Therefore, I think that

sooner or later everything will come to the negotiating table

and relevant decisions will be made. And we hope that Ukraine will be able to win back its territories," Milli emphasized.
