On Thursday, January 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reached an important agreement during a meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

He announced this during his traditional evening bell.

"There is an important agreement - it is already being implemented: IAEA missions will be sent to our nuclear plants. For everyone. And this will significantly increase the security of our nuclear generation," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

Also, according to the president, the situation around the Zaporizhzhia NPP was discussed separately.

According to Zelenskyi, it was about measures that can "return the radiation safety violated by Russia to all mankind."

It will be recalled that the day before, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Raphael Grossi, announced that on Wednesday, January 18, a permanent mission of the organization arrived at the Chornobyl NPP.
