This is stated in the statement of the commander of the Southern Operational Command, Major General Andrii Kovalchuk.

"We keep countermeasures on alert and are ready to use weapons. That is why the enemy ships are kept at a distance, outside the zone of damage. Mine approaches from the sea have also been prepared for them," he said.

According to Kovalchuk, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor Russia, anti-aircraft defense has been provided along the entire Black Sea coastline.

The commander also announced that the Russians failed to implement their plan to land their landing force on February 24, 2022.

Russia has deployed 11 of its ships to the Black Sea
