The so-called partial mobilization

continues in the Russian Federation

, where they are preparing for a new wave.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Analysts point out that, according to the General Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, Russia is beginning to mobilize older men more actively, as well as migrants from the countries of the former Soviet Union.

The report mentions information provided by the Center of National Resistance, according to which drug-addicted people are being recruited into military service in North Ossetia.

One of the captured Russian servicemen told the Central Intelligence Agency that he was unable to overcome his addiction and continued to use prohibited substances while fighting in the Zaporozhye region.

"A person mobilized due to the threat of appearing before the court. He was detained for driving a car without documents. In order not to go to court, the man was offered to go to Ukraine," the CNS writes.

ISW experts also noted that the problem of desertion and disobedience to commanders is widespread in the Russian Armed Forces.

For example, eight people mobilized from the Kaliningrad region who left Luhansk region for the Russian Federation by taxi and bus were charged with desertion.

What is known about mobilization in Russia

The new wave of mobilization will not prevent the Defense Forces from conducting offensive operations on the front lines.

Andrii Chernyak, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, stated this.

According to Chernyak, the Kremlin wants to carry out a large-scale offensive to occupy new Ukrainian territories at the expense of citizens called to the ranks of the army.

Despite the plans for the further capture of the regions, the Russian invaders are engaged in the construction of fortifications in those directions where, in theory, they should conduct assault actions.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that preparations for a new

mobilization are in full swing in Russia,

and the FSB has issued an order prohibiting debtors from crossing the border.

Oleksiy Hetman, a military analyst and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, believes that it is

not a problem for the Russian Federation to mobilize 500,000 people,

or even several million.

However, to provide such a number of fighters, there will be a lack of equipment, weapons and even ammunition.

It is possible that the mobilized will be thrown into battle with just sticks or Mosin rifles.

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia is trying to

create an army of two million.
