The bodies of 28-year-old Oleksiy Zelenskyi and his 11-month-old son Mykytka were found only at the end of the search and rescue operation in Dnipro.

Meanwhile, their wife and mother miraculously survived, even though they were all in the same room.

She was trapped by debris, the woman was waiting for rescue and could not call for help because she is hearing impaired.

Military photographer Oksana Johannesson was the first to film how she was rescued.

Through her eyes, the whole world saw the tragedy of the residents of the bombed-out apartment building, and in particular of this family.

What is known about the rescue operation of the Zelenski family - in the story of TSN.

The bodies of the dead were under the debris of their own

kitchen on the fourth floor.

The rescuers climbed up to the apartment with a crane.

And they began to disassemble the wreckage by hand in order to get to the father and son who were killed by a Russian rocket.

Military photographer Oksana Johannesson worked on the spot almost from the first minutes after the missile strike.

She covers the Russian-Ukrainian war for Scandinavian media.

Often works at zero.

She saw a lot, but the story of the Zelenskyi family shocked her.

She worked for three days next to the rescuers.

I filmed their work and managed to film how, after 20 hours of surgery, a young woman dressed only in a top and leggings was pulled out from under the rubble.

Later, this photo went around the world.

Rescuers tried to find survivors in the darkness and smoke.

They arranged moments of silence, listened.

But Kateryna could not call for help, she has been deaf since birth.

Emergency services only caught a knock.

When Kateryna was found, her body temperature was only 31 degrees.

Now she has been stabilized.

Everything she remembers, she wrote on paper.

The family was in the kitchen.

And then - an explosion.
