"The European Parliament and the resolution adopted by it have no importance for the people of Azerbaijan, documents adopted against international law are a piece of paper for us."

Kemal Jafarov, a member of the European Union-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, said this in his statement to APA.

Kamal Jafarov said that his meetings with the deputies in the European Parliament continued until the evening: "Our last meeting was with the German deputy Michael Gahler.

At every meeting, we asked the deputies to simply support international law without taking sides or choosing a country.

At the same time, we told every deputy that the fake information blockade created around Lachin is the result of a purposeful policy implemented by forces that do not want peace in the region and want to distract attention from the war in Ukraine.

Because from December 15 of last year until today, as many vehicles as the number of deputies of the European Parliament have passed through Lachin's corridor.

The deputy emphasized that such attempts are made to exclude the European Union from the peace talks process: "Because the European Parliament and the resolution adopted by it have no importance for the people of Azerbaijan, the documents adopted against international law are a piece of paper for us.

The confidence of the Azerbaijani people in European institutions is zero.

Because the people did not see any justice from them for 30 years.

Justice was restored by our victorious army and people under the leadership of our Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

At this stage, the members of the European Parliament are already questioning the legitimacy of the decisions taken or made by the European Parliament, where the vice president was arrested on corruption charges.

Arrested vice-president Eva Kaili was also pro-Armenian and the "blocking" of Lachin Corridor

The initiator of the proposed resolution project is the Social-Democrats party represented by Eva Kaili.

That's why the representatives of a number of other parties we met with stated that they will not vote for that draft resolution."
