HomeSofia's economy is, quite logically, dominant in the country. The gross domestic product is over 51 billion and constitutes 42.8% of Bulgaria's economy.
This is five times more than the economy of the second largest region in our country, Plovdiv, and seven times more than the economy of the Varna region.
The data are from the new Sofia Investment Agency report "Economic and Investment Profile of Sofia 2022", prepared by the Institute for Market Economy.
