Military analyst, Colonel Petro Chernyk, believes that the Russians will not launch a "major offensive" in Luhansk region, while at the same time he does not rule out such a scenario, based on their "crazy actions", which they have done more than once.

This opinion was expressed by the Colonel of the ZSU in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

"So far, it is difficult for me to understand how they can manage to carry out any serious breakthrough operations (in Luhansk region - ed.). Let's say, to a depth of up to 15 km, which is the depth of the mechanized brigade near Bakhmut, which they allegedly "took", and Soledar, which is already completely "under their control" there

(according to the false statements of Russia - ed.).

Since August 1, in these two directions, they have not progressed all-in-all by some 15 km. At the expense of what, with what quality equipment, they will make these breakthroughs operations. I still find it hard to imagine, but at the same time I do not rule out their madness," the analyst said.

However, Chernyk is sure that there will be attempts to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian army in one of the directions in Luhansk region.

"Chornobaivka and Fr. Zmeiny teach us that they can resort to such tactical situations and decisions that

cannot be interpreted from the point of view of common sense.

Will they try? Definitely, yes, but at what point and in what way - it is not yet known." - he remarked.

We will remind you that, according to Oleg Zhdanov, Russia really wants to start a big war for a long time, but whether it will be able to - it will become clear in February.
