In Kazakhstan, a member of the Majilis of the country's parliament, Azamat Abildayev, who supports Russia and its war against Ukraine, was expelled from the ranks of the Ak Zhol party.

This is stated in the press release of the party dated January 19.

The political force has also already appealed to the CEC with a request to terminate Abildayev's deputy mandate.

Abildayev himself said in a comment to "Radio Azattyk" that he agrees with the decision to expel him from the party and wants to use his words to "frame the party" before the elections.

"We need to understand one thing: saying ``national patriots'' and saying ``national'' in order not to become like Ukraine," the deputy added.

It should be noted that Abildaev in a recent interview stated that he

supports Russia, which started a war

against Ukraine.

He also

dreamed of "Nazis" in Kyiv.

On the same day, the "Ak Zhol" party announced the convening of a plenum of the National Council after the deputy's statements about the war in Ukraine.

The announcement noted that Abildayev's statements contradict the party's position and violate party and deputy ethics.

The leader of the political force emphasized that it respects the independence and territorial integrity of both Kazakhstan itself and friendly states.

Note that Kazakhstan is the next country that Russia wants to capture.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine, made such a statement.

It will be recalled that The Washington Post wrote in the fall that Russian President Vladimir Putin's influence on regional allies is falling due to failures in the war.

The most notable changes are in Kazakhstan, which has strengthened ties with China, Turkey and Europe and has become a transit point for Russians fleeing mobilization.
