In Brovary, during the helicopter crash, the rescuer arrived at the scene of the tragedy at a time when his pregnant wife and little son were in kindergarten.

A scary story with a happy ending for this family was told on the air of a nationwide telethon.

Dmytryk's father, Artem, works as a lifeguard.

On that terrible day, he was just on shift.

Arriving at the scene of the tragedy, the husband saw his wife's car parked near the kindergarten.

"I was very worried, running, looking for them. I couldn't find them for a long time," says Artem.

However, as it turned out, a fellow rescuer at work recognized his friend's wife and son and took them to the emergency department.

"I remember his words when he saw us: 'God, you are alive,'" his wife recalls.

Residents of neighboring houses say that in the first seconds of the accident, they first thought about the enemy drone "Shahid".

Kindergarten teachers responded quickly during the tragedy.

One of them - Mrs. Elena - was thrown back by the explosive wave.

Despite the blow, she was able to get up and take the children out of the fire.
