, which forced the people of Kyiv to seek shelter on January 14, will be long remembered by the five-year-old boy Viktor, whose birthday the Russian barbarians tried to spoil.

A cute photo appeared on social networks, in which a mother and her two sons are sitting on the steps of the Poznyaki metro station in holiday caps and with balls in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The TSN.ua site sought out the boys' mother to talk about this day.

"January 14 is the birthday of my youngest son Viktor, he turned 5 years old. He specifically wanted his holiday to be decorated with balloons in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. We went to buy them with my eldest son. And in the morning the whole family congratulated Vitya. And only he started unpacking the gifts when the air-raid alarm sounded. The holiday was interrupted, we got together and went to the shelter. But to cheer up my son, they took patriotic balls with them," he told the TSN.ua website.

mother of the boy Vlad Lebedev-Shyrokyh.

On the way to the Poznyaki metro station, my mother went to a store and bought some bright caps so that her son would be in a festive mood.

"I even managed to buy him additional gifts - toy airplanes, because everything we prepared for him as a gift was bulky, so we left it at home. We went to the subway with these bright balls and the people who met us on the way sincerely congratulated the little one on the holiday . It was very pleasant. And at the station, they found a free place on the steps and continued the celebration," says Vlada's mother.

People who came to the shelter also welcomed the boy.

The older brother took a photo on his phone to capture the memory of his brother's birthday.

"Viktor was greeted by a lot of people. Probably, so many people have never greeted him. People looked at us and also smiled, they supported our festive mood. My boy will remember this birthday for the rest of his life, that's for sure. We talked for a long time between themselves and other people. Only at 5:02 p.m. did the air raid alarm sound off. We sat at the metro station for almost two hours," the boy's mother recalls.

A celebration with friends was planned for Victor in the children's room, a festive table was ordered there, but everything had to be canceled due to air anxiety.

"When we returned home, we only had a cake on the table. But the children did not care, because the birthday was fun, successful and full of emotions. His friend came to visit Viktor, so there were gifts and congratulations. But most of all, my son he liked the balls in the colors of the flag of Ukraine, and he does not part with the little flag, he even greeted guests with it. No enemies will be able to spoil the holiday for our Ukrainian children," Vlada adds.
