A confrontation is brewing between the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the owner of PMV "Wagner", Yevgeny Prigozhin, the first stage of which was the dismissal of General Serhii Surovykin from the post of commander of the Russian forces in Ukraine.

Hristo Grozev, head of the independent international intelligence community Bellingcat, told about this in an interview with the Glavkom publication.

"I believe that a

new confrontation is emerging in the Kremlin before our eyes. This time between Putin and Prigozhin

. And the release of Sergei Surovikin is only its first stage. We will see even more: how the Russian guarantor will act under the increasing pressure of "Wagner". it simply cannot be otherwise, when more than 20,000 armed thugs behind Prigozhin's back consider their leader to be better than the Russian guarantor himself," Grozev predicts.

He emphasized that Prigozhin's desire to get a part of the real power can be clearly seen in this wound.

"Of course, in order to satisfy his growing power ambitions, Putin's "cook"

will require his master to remove someone from his path

. It is very difficult for the Kremlin helmsman to do this," the investigator added.

He drew attention to the fact that Putin had previously tried to appease Prigozhin by offering him the political role that the late LDPR leader Volodymyr Zhirynovsky once had in Russia.

That is, according to the plan of the Russian dictator, the main "Wagnerian" should gather around himself something like a new party loyal to the current government.

"However, this was clearly not enough for Yevgeny Prigozhin. That is why he

began to put more and more pressure on his patron

, who had no other choice but to go on the defensive. At the same time, he was trying to get away from the supreme "musician", - said the head of Bellingcat.

He added that recent events should also be viewed through this prism: when the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation suddenly decided to retreat from the previously announced

victory in Soledar

"Although earlier the Russian military leadership said that this "victory" belonged only to them and no one else. For his part, Prigozhin insisted in every possible way that this was the achievement of his private army only," Grozev recalled.

Based on his findings, it can be concluded that the leadership of the Russian Federation is somehow trying to relieve the tension in relations with "Wagner".

"However, once again,

Prigozhin cannot take a step back

, because he is constantly under pressure from his mercenary followers. Therefore, he will continue to attack Putin, making new demands," the investigator believes.

We will remind you that Russia is facing a civil war with "bloody rivers" and Putin's regime is doomed.

Such a forecast was given by the Russian human rights activist and blogger Mark Feigin.

He also announced the internal struggle for power in the Russian Federation between Prigozhin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

So Putin was afraid of the influence of Prigozhin, as well as the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and decided to remove them from the information field in Russia.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced this.

It is Prigozhin who can become a potential successor to Putin, ex-employee of British military intelligence Philip Ingram believes.
