613 candidates out of 1,136 who took the Board of Purchasing and Supply Specialists exams have passed, 48 candidates have failed and 474 will repeat the exams

Announcing the results of the 25th Board today in this city, the Executive Director of the Board Godfred Mbanyi said that the exams were held from November 22 to 25 last year nationwide.

He said that a total of 1,216 candidates were registered to take the exams, of which 1,135 candidates equal to 93.3 percent took the exams.

"There has been an increase in the number of candidates compared to the previous season which had 1,032 candidates" he said

He said that among the candidates who took the exams, 452 candidates were new and the remaining 683 were candidates who were repeating some subjects.

"A total of 613 candidates equal to 54 percent passed their exams, 474 candidates equal to 41.8 percent will repeat some subjects from one subject to three subjects depending on the number of subjects they failed and 48 candidates equal to 4.2 percent have failed all the subjects they did at various levels, " he said.

In the 34 subjects that the candidates were assessed, 28 subjects were done well, 10 subjects were done on average and the results of six subjects were bad in the sense of being below average.

In addition, three candidates emerged as the best candidates.
