[Reporter Xu Guozhen/Taichung Report] A group of 23 mountaineering groups composed of college students climbed Pozinga Mountain, one of the seven heroes of Guguan, on the 18th. Due to the exhaustion of drinking water and lighting batteries, and sprains among the members, they were trapped on the mountain. In the evening, the bureau received a report and asked for help one after another, and assisted a male college student with a foot injury to walk down the mountain slowly. Finally, all of them were rescued in the early morning of this morning. Although none of them needed to be sent to the hospital, they were still terrified.

The Taichung City Fire Department received a report at around 8:30 last night. Some people said that a group of 23 college students was located about 1 km away from the Pozinga Mountain trail. They were short of drinking water, cold, and the batteries of the lighting equipment were about to run out. The upper part of the students were physically exhausted and asked for rescue. A total of 4 people from the Guguan Division and the Peace Division were immediately dispatched to work, and Zhang Kaimin, the captain of the Guguan Division, led the team to search and rescue.

At 9:32 p.m., the search and rescue personnel came into contact with the trapped college students one after another. After providing them with warmth and drinking water, they descended to the mountain entrance. At 10:10 p.m., they contacted the last four college students at 1.2K, including a 22-year-old Zheng The male college student surnamed sprained his right ankle. Because the Bozinga Mountain trail was very steep, he was unable to go down the mountain. The firefighters accompanied him down the mountain slowly and stopped along the way. Friends from other mountaineering groups meet.

Fortunately, everyone is fine, and Zheng Nan also said that there is no need to send him to the hospital. The search and rescue personnel packed up their equipment and returned to the team, and the search and rescue mission came to an end.
