A fire broke out in a residential house in Longjing District, Taichung City late last night. Four people inside the house were once trapped. Fortunately, they were rescued without serious problems.

[Reporter Xu Guozhen/Taichung Report] A fire alarm broke out at a residential house in Longjing District, Taichung City late last night, causing 2 adults and 2 children to be trapped in the house. Fortunately, the four people were rescued in time, none of them were life-threatening and did not seek medical treatment, but they were still terrified. The cause of the fire still needs to be further identified and clarified.

The Taichung City Fire Department received a report at 11:35 last night that a residential fire broke out in Jiuchelu Alley, Longjing District. The Longjing, Dadu, Lifen and other units and the fourth brigade were dispatched immediately, with 10 fire engines of various types and ambulances. There were 3 vehicles and 28 firefighters, led by team leader Chen Pinxi to direct the rescue.

When the firefighters arrived, they found that the fire site was a 3rd-floor building. It was suspected that debris piled up inside the house was burning. 2 adults and 2 children inside the house were trapped on the 2nd floor. The fire was extinguished at 00:20 this morning, and the four people trapped in the house were successfully rescued. Fortunately, none of the four people were traumatized and conscious, and did not need to be sent to the hospital.

Firefighters rescued 4 people in time, but fortunately all were unharmed.
