In the USA, they do not yet see signs that would testify to the probable preparation of the Belarusian army for direct entry into the war against Ukraine. 

John Kirby, a representative of the National Security Council of the White House, told about this during the briefing.

"I will tell you that we have not yet seen any signs that Belarus intends, plans or organizes to enter, physically penetrate the territory of Ukraine to help Russian forces in Ukraine," he said.

Regarding Poland's concerns, Kirby responded that the

United States shares those concerns.

The representative of the White House also reacted to the joint military exercises of Russian and Belarusian aviation near the Ukrainian border.

He noted that the strategic goal of these exercises can be

both a demonstration of power and practice of specific operations.

Threat to Ukraine from Belarus

We will remind, from Monday, January 16,

the joint flight and tactical training of aviation units of the

 Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are part of the regional grouping of troops, started.

The next day it became known that Russian Su-34 bombers had arrived

in the republic for so-called "military exercises" 

. 

According to border guards,

there are 11,000 Russian soldiers on the territory of Belarus

, but this number is constantly changing due to rotation in the Russian Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, the head of Rivne OVA Vitaly Koval warns that 

flight training in Belarus will affect

 the rhythm of life throughout Ukraine, and that one of these training flights may become non-training.
