According to the interim Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine are determining the causes of the disaster in Brovary on January 18.

He talked about this on the air of the telethon "Edyni Novyni".

"We, together with other law enforcement agencies, the Attorney General's Office, are doing everything to establish as soon as possible why this disaster happened. We will work day and night so that we can answer all the questions that we, the society, have a clear answer", - emphasized acting

The government appointed the head of the National Police, Ihor Klymenko, as deputy minister of internal affairs and assigned him the duties of the minister of internal affairs after the death of Denys Monastyrskyi in a plane crash on January 18.

Helicopter crash in Brovary: current information

On January 18, a helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region, near a kindergarten and a residential building. 

The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was there.

All passengers and crew died.

It is known that Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich flew to Kharkiv.

In total, 14 people died as a result of the helicopter crash, including 1 child.

The SBU has started an investigation into the crash of a helicopter in Brovary.

The cause of the tragedy is currently being established.
