UN Secretary General António Guterres currently sees no conditions for ending the war in Ukraine.

He is convinced that the hostilities will end, but not "in the near future."

Guterres said this at the World Economic Forum in Davos, The Guardian reports.

The UN Secretary General stated that, unfortunately, he does not see an end to the war in Ukraine in the near future.

According to him, there are no conditions for serious peace negotiations between the two countries.

"This war will end. Everything will end. But I don't see an end to this war in the near future, unfortunately. I don't see a chance that there can be peace talks between the two sides now," Guterres said.

We will remind you that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin spoke about new reasons for launching a full-scale war against Ukraine.

The head of the Kremlin again cynically spoke "about the protection of people" who die every day at the hands of the Russians.
