Reliable, modern, powerful - this is exactly how experts characterize the Ash-225 Super Puma rotorcraft that crashed in Brovary.

Ukraine buys these helicopters from France, our pilots have already flown them for hundreds of hours, and the crew that transported the top management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was very experienced, TSN reports.

The latest video footage of the Ash-225 airbus, which will crash into a kindergarten in Brovary in a few minutes and take at least 14 lives, has appeared on the Internet.

A fire broke out on the spot, 2 tons of aviation kerosene burned out, after all, the rotorcraft was obviously stuffed under a tie, the senior leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was flying to the Kharkiv region.

The investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine took up the investigation of this case and they already have three main versions.

"Violation of flight rules, technical malfunction of the helicopter, or intentional actions that caused the destruction of the vehicle.

SBU employees are conducting a complex of investigative and operational measures to establish all cause-and-effect relationships and details of the tragedy," said SBU spokesman Artem Dekhtyarenko.

Version #1 - fire on board

Witnesses in social networks wrote that they saw above their heads that the rotorcraft was still burning in the air.

"This information is based on hearsay, procedurally it will be fixed and if there are such witnesses, then of course we will move in this direction.

I am sure that there will be more than one version of the investigation", - assures the head of the National Police in the Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov.

Version #2 - violation of flight rules

Everyone who saw the helicopter this morning over the capital Obolonya and in Brovary assures that it was flying very low.

That's exactly why people filmed it, but the perfect autopilot and modern avionics allow this rotorcraft to fly in such weather conditions.

Film crews of TSN also had to fly on the "Super-Puma" in difficult weather conditions.

This has never been a problem for Ukrainian pilots.

Version #3 - the pilots did not notice the high-rise building due to the fog, tried to fly over it and got caught on the roof

It was written about immediately after the disaster, but it was immediately rejected.

The rotorcraft flew into high-rise buildings, no damage was found on the neighboring buildings.

And in general, the pilots knew well the route they were flying.

One more point, all rotorcraft of the Airbus family have extremely high power.

A rotorcraft can literally gain a dozen meters per second from a standstill.

"Ash-225" was unloaded, there were 9 passengers on board, and it can carry up to 25. If the pilots had seen a 12-story building in front of them in a few seconds, the machine would have been able to jump over, the engines would have pulled out.

Version #4 is a technical malfunction

Ukraine is not buying new Airbus helicopters.

In addition, in 2016, one of them had an accident near Scotland.

At that time, experts called the destruction of the main rotor bearing the cause of the disaster, and the French aviation service even banned the operation of these helicopters for a while, but later the developers made changes to the design.

Modernized machines were supplied to Ukraine.

"Well, it flew over the school, went down sharply and hit the kindergarten, there was fire and smoke," eyewitness Miroslava from Brovary assures.

The police currently admit that they still do not have one - the main version, so they are asking everyone who saw or heard something for help.

"One thing I can say is that there will be a very large volume of investigative actions to find out all the circumstances, but there is a request to you to you to all of you, and who saw how this rotorcraft was flying at low altitude, to contact the police on 102, or to the local police.

We will definitely come to you and write everything down, this is very important for an objective comprehensive investigation," Nebitov says.

In addition to the leadership and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as people on the ground, the crew died: Oleksand Vasylenko, Konstantin Kovalenko, Ivan Kasyanov.

Colleagues of the dead pilots say that it was an extremely experienced crew.
