[Reporter Cai Wenju/Tainan Report] The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center of Tainan City Social Bureau develops smart wearable devices for victims of domestic violence and promotes the "Protection Plan for Victims of Domestic Violence in Tainan City". And the police notification system to protect the safety of victims of domestic violence 24 hours a day.

The Social Affairs Bureau stated that modern communication technology is advanced. Although everyone has a mobile phone, it is not an easy task for a victim who is suffering from a domestic violence crisis to immediately pick up the mobile phone for help.

In order to provide victims of domestic violence with more channels for seeking help, the Home Defense Center and the Women's and Children's Police Unit of the police station have formulated a cooperation process and simulated the rescue mechanism, and combined with the security company to introduce the "MiniBond Mini Pound" digital smart device.

Shi Qingfa, director of the Nanshi Home Defense Center, explained that the digital device is a wireless remote control portable button, which is easy to operate with a single button. When a domestic violence victim faces an emergency, he can directly press the portable SOS button and receive information through the 24-hour monitoring service center. Immediately after the distress message, the location information is notified to the police station and social bureau to send personnel to rescue and assist.

Shi Qingfa said that the first batch of equipment is suitable for a total of 21 domestic violence victims who have been assessed by the social workers of the Home Defense Center of the Economic and Social Bureau to be highly violent and have no emergency assistance resources around them. Return it after it is released, so as to avoid the situation where the victim is facing an emergency and no one can rescue him.
