Veysaloglu Group of Companies has announced the price index of December 2022 for products with the highest customer demand in its markets.

According to the "Veysaloglu Retail Index", a 19.3%

increase was observed in

the price of the products most purchased by the company's customers in December 2022 compared to December last year .

Thus, compared to December 2021, a 22.6% increase in the price of perishable food products, an 18.5% increase in the price of dry, frozen food products, sweets and soft drinks, and a 6.0% increase in the price of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products were observed.

Note that the

index is not an indicator of inflation.

The purpose of sharing information is to provide information that may be of interest to financial institutions and to support general customers in budget planning for monthly product purchases.

According to the index, an average price change of 16.3% was observed between January-December 2022 and January-December 2021.

Compared to the previous period, the price of perishable food products increased by 14.5%, the price of dry, frozen food products, sweets and non-alcoholic beverages by 18.6%, and the price of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 12.5% ​​(Table 1).
