A pregnant woman is among those injured as a result of the helicopter crash in Brovary on January 18.

This was announced by the mayor of Brovary Ihor Sapozhko.

"24 people, including 10 children, were taken to the Brovary hospital. Eight people, four of them children, were transported to the burn center. 16 people are currently in our hospital, six of them are children. The wounded are in the trauma and surgical departments, and one is pregnant - in the gynecological office," he said.

According to Sapozhka, all victims are provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance.

Helicopter crash in Brovary

We will remind you that on January 18, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service fell near a kindergarten in Brovary.

On board was the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a total of nine people: six representatives of the operational group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, his deputy Yevhenii Yenin and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovich, as well as three members of the crew of the State Emergency Service.

All who were on board the helicopter died.

A total of 17 people died as a result of the tragedy, four of them were children.

Investigative actions have begun at the scene of the tragedy.

Law enforcement officers are considering several versions of the disaster: violation of flight rules, technical malfunction of the helicopter and deliberate actions to destroy the vehicle.

At the same time, witnesses reported that the rotorcraft caught fire while still in the air, circled, and then fell.
