Trade unions in France are preparing large-scale strikes over Macron's pension reform

The pension reform envisages a gradual increase in the retirement age - from 62 to 64 years, and the required length of service for a full pension becomes 43 years from 2027.

The changes must be approved by parliament, where President Macron does not have an absolute majority and is counting on the votes of the conservative Republican Party.
