During his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Russia, taking advantage of the slowdown in hostilities, is strengthening and preparing for revenge.

"We see that Russia is trying to leave, strengthen and prepare for revenge," he said.

 At the same time, the Ukrainian leader assured that the Kremlin will not succeed in realizing its intentions, because "they [the Russian occupiers] are not fighting against Ukraine, but against a civilized approach to life."

Zelenskyi also noted that the fighting at the front has slowed down because "everyone is getting tired: nature, people and the enemy."

"The war really slows down in winter. There are understandable circumstances and understandable reasons... It all looks like this: daily fierce battles in the east of our country. We stand firm and strong..." - assured the Ukrainian president.

He also added that the situation in the southern and northern directions remains under the full control of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that the president of the Institute of Economic Analysis, Andriy Illarionov, suggested that in the near future the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will start a major war that has never happened before.
