The journalist was fined 30,000 Russian rubles (about 400 euros) because in an interview with the opposition TV station "Rain" he said: You cannot send a woman to the front.

The magistrates ruled that instead of the word "front" Efremov should have used line of contact (as Russia calls the front line in Ukraine).

"Moscow claims that it is not waging a war in Ukraine, but a special military operation," the media from Kyiv recalled.
