The two arrested in connection with the "Nexo" scandal have appealed the bail imposed on them in the amount of BGN 1 million each, BTV reported.

A court decision is expected next week, and until then the two remain free.

The other two defendants in the scandal are still being sought, and the political accusations on the subject do not stop.

The "Nexo" scandal threatens the chance of regular power, they are convinced by "Continuing the change".

And they pointed out who they thought was to blame.

"The third mandate was sabotaged by Ivan Geshev and GERB.

Ananiev again stated that he had nothing to do with the cryptobank.

Although he was a partner in a joint company with one of the co-founders of "Nexo" - Antoni Trenchev

"We were supposed to make an application, but after he decided in the middle of 2018 to deal with Nexo, basically nothing happened and this company never developed activity," explained Ananiev.

GERB, however, is of a different opinion - the "Nexo" affair has shed light on connections between parties and the crypto company.

"172,000 of the 221,000 total donations for their partner and sacred cow DB were donated by Nexo employees," said Georg Georgiev, GERB-SDS.  

The "Volt" party, with which the PP is in coalition, has already uploaded a report on the donations received to the PP on its website.

This was reported by the Office of the Prime Minister in response to Georg Georgiev from GERB, who said in This Morning today that the former rulers did not publish the donation reports on their website.

The PP specifies that "Volt" is responsible for accountability in their coalition.

Boyko Borisov's party rejected the accusations that they were acting in sync with the prosecutor's office.

"Why wasn't the question asked - who is throwing the mud - the caps from 8 American states, the main cap of New York?" commented Georgiev.

However, "Democratic Bulgaria" also sees intent in the announcement of the investigation in the days before the third mandate.
