Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, Commander of the Ground Forces Lieutenant-General Anvar Efendiyev and other officials of the ministry visited military unit No. N.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Defense to APA, the recruitment process of personnel, their participation in the initial basic training course and their comprehensive provision were checked in the military unit where the most number of newly conscripted young men gather.

Colonel-General K. Valiyev instructed officials to educate young soldiers in the spirit of patriotism, to strictly observe the requirements of the law and military regulations, as well as to pay special attention to the issues of organizing and conducting their intensive combat training.

Later, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense visited the commando and other military units located on the border with Armenia and watched the intensive mountain training of the personnel.

Colonel-General K. Valiyev, who met with the commandos training in the mountainous and difficult terrain, ordered that the main attention should be focused on the methods and tactics of conducting the battle in the practical exercises of the military personnel.

During day and night exercises, tactical and fire training in mountain conditions, ability to cross mountain roads, passes and heights, as well as coordination with other units are studied.

Taking into account the combat experience of the troops in mountain training tasks, special attention is paid to improving the skills of personnel to overcome natural obstacles in mountainous areas, effective use of state weapons, including drones, as well as the ability to conduct combat in any weather during the day and night.

The Chief of the General Staff gave relevant instructions to the relevant officials regarding the improvement of the level of professional training of military personnel, the further increase of the intensity and quality of training and exercises.
