The construction of the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway, which is one of the road infrastructure projects that will play an important role in the socio-economic development of our territories freed from occupation, is being carried out in the territory of the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions, and is being continued rapidly and at the final stage.

According to information provided to "APA-Economics" by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Highways (AAYDA), the length of the highway is 12 kilometers.

This road, which will be of technical grade I, starts from "Zafar Yolu" and connects to the newly built Shukurbeyli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway.

Fuzuli-Hadrut highway has 4 traffic lanes.

According to the traffic lanes, the width of the road bed is 21.5 meters, and the width of the road section is 14 meters.

The widening and profiling of the road with the use of special techniques and the construction of a new soil bed and road base according to technical grade I have been fully completed.

On the 11-km section of the road, the works of laying the bottom layer of the asphalt cover have been completed.

In addition to the construction of the soil bed and road base on the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway, the construction of 15 culverts of different diameters, 7 reserve crossings, as well as 1 quadrangular water crossing for the transfer of stream waters was completed in order to ensure the transmission of atmospheric water along the road.

Under the project, a single-pass bridge was built at 6.7 km of the road, passing through the area called "Gargabazar".

The length of the car bridge is 18 meters, and its width is 21 meters.

Construction works are carried out by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Highways according to the requirements of "Construction Norms and Rules".

In order to complete the construction in a short time according to the drawn up schedule, the necessary number of forces were involved in the area.

It should be noted that the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway passes through the territory of the liberated Fuzuli and Khojavand regions.
