[Reporter Cai Zongxian/Pingtung Report] The "Jiale Water" Scenic Spot in Manzhou, named by former President Chiang Ching-kuo, ceased operations due to the poor management of the township office and dismissed personnel. After Rong Fu took office, he and the Township Representative Council decided to approve the resumption of the operation of Jiale Water, so that tourists can safely travel to Jia Le Water Scenic Area during the Lunar New Year.

The Jialeshui Scenic Area, famous for its uncanny crafted reefs, has been a public production golden hen in Manzhou Township for 46 years since its opening. In the early days, it once reached a record of 800,000 people entering the park every year. After visiting the park, it once rose to 200,000. Up and down, in recent years, tourism has been weak and the epidemic has been losing money year after year. The operation was closed in April last year, which has become a chaotic situation for tourists to come and go. The public office has not yet been able to increase the income of public production.

Manzhou Township Mayor Gu Rongfu promised the villagers to restart operations during the election. With the support of the township congress, he announced yesterday that he approved the resumption of the operation of Jiale Water. As for the suspension bridge at the port of the fishing village park, which was closed at the same time, the safety facilities need to be repaired. It will continue to be closed and prohibited from entering in the short term.

Gu Rongfu said that Jiale Water Scenic Area has become an "open scenic spot" due to the suspension of operation. Although vehicles are restricted in and out, people can still come in and out freely on foot. In the event of a forced trespass, the surrounding environment will be tidied up after the resumption of operations. During the Spring Festival, villagers will be considered to set up short-term booths to welcome visitors. It can also control the people to avoid trespassing and injury, which will affect the local tourism image.
