On economic issues, 60.5% of the people thought that last year was the same as in the past, 32.2% thought it was getting worse, 5.9% thought it was getting better, and 1.3% didn't know.

Regarding President Tsai Ing-wen's economic performance, 51.7% were dissatisfied, 34.9% were satisfied, 11.4% had no opinion, and 2% did not know.

Regarding issues such as diplomacy, cross-strait affairs, and national defense, polls by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation show that 49.5% of the public are dissatisfied with President Tsai’s handling of cross-strait relations, 38.5% are satisfied, 9.8% have no opinion, and 2.2% don’t know; 72.7% of the public support the reinstatement of compulsory service to one year, 17.3% do not support it, 7.9% have no opinion, and 2.1% do not know.
