near the city of Garwolin, in the Masovian Voivodeship, a Ukrainian man was killed when a DAF truck ran over him on the highway.

The Ukrainian died on the spot from his injuries.

This is reported by the local police.

A citizen of Ukraine was driving a DAF truck, but the vehicle had a flat tire and stopped on the highway.

The driver wanted to change the tire himself.

At that moment, another DAF truck, driven by a citizen of Uzbekistan, ran into it.

The Ukrainian died on the spot from his injuries.

The police established that the citizen of Uzbekistan was sober.

The causes of the accident are currently being determined by the expert, as well as which of the participants in the accident behaved contrary to traffic rules.



The investigation is ongoing.

A citizen of Uzbekistan has already been charged with a traffic accident that had fatal consequences.

The driver can face from six months to eight years in prison.

We will remind you that in Poland, a citizen of Ukraine lost his driver's license, exceeding the speed of 135 km/h, violating the ban on overtaking another vehicle, and immediately after the road control, he again exceeded the speed limit.

He also received

three fines totaling 6.5 thousand zlotys (over 55 thousand UAH).
