10,584 motor vehicles were checked as part of the dedicated police operation to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

Within the past day, a total of 18 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after drinking alcohol - 8 of them drove after drinking alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, 10 - with more than 1.2 per 1000, and five stopped for inspection refused to be tested.

10 people were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and four refused to be tested.
