Russian citizens will not be able to get visas for more than a year to European countries, despite the fact that the complete ban on entry is still in effect in only six EU states.

And Kazakhstan sharply limited the period of stay of Russians in the country.

The Russian "Association of Tour Operators" writes about this, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

We will remind that six countries have so far introduced a complete ban on entry for Russian tourists: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, the Czech Republic and Estonia.

At the same time, other European consulates built "visa barriers".

There, as representatives of Russian tour operators say, "impossible conditions" are put forward without an official refusal to issue visas to citizens of the Russian Federation.

For example, payment of visa fees through Western banks, insurance policy of a foreign company.

The issuance of multiple-entry visas has also been reduced to a minimum.

"You can forget about multi-Schengen for 2 and 3 years, and even more so for 5 years. It is good if they issue a multiple-entry visa for 6 months or a year. With a weak visa history, they will only give a one-time visa for the duration of the trip," shared a representative of one of the tour operators aggressor countries.

Tourists who have frequently visited European countries in the past may be issued a visa with a shorter validity period than they are used to or ask for.

In 2023, new visa rules for Russians have not yet been introduced.

The strictest requirements apply in Germany: there they are asked to present an account with a bank operating in the EU and insurance from a European insurance company.

Similar demands are put forward by Slovenia and Malta.

At the same time, in Kazakhstan, citizens of the Russian Federation were equalized in rights with other foreigners.

The state has sharply tightened the rules of stay for citizens of the aggressor country.

Now Russians can stay in Kazakhstan for no more than 90 days in 6 months.

This is stated in the resolution of the government of Kazakhstan.

"From January 27, citizens of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan) will not be allowed to stay in Kazakhstan for more than 90 days during any period of 180 days. In case of violation, the foreigner will not be allowed to enter the country on the next visit," - specified in the document.

This restriction does not apply to those who have issued a temporary residence permit.

We will remind you that earlier TSN wrote what to do with Ukrainians who fled abroad from the war without foreign passports.

The economist also told how many people left Ukraine because of the war

The day before, it was reported that the Kazakh diaspora had set up another yurt, where you can come to warm up and recharge your batteries.

Now in Kyiv.

The first one was staged in Buchi for Christmas.
