Zhang Suling said that she hopes to provide Hsinchu citizens with a safe and secure living environment and smooth traffic. When asked how she feels about being the first female police chief in Zhu City, she said that gender is not the key point, but doing a good job is the most important thing , she will go all out.

Gao Hongan said that the former director, Guo Shijie, was transferred to the chief of the Hsinchu City Police Department in January last year. During his one-year service period, due to his excellent work performance, outstanding performance, and good interaction with local units, he was deeply recognized by Hsinchu citizens.

The new director, Zhang Suling, is a 50th graduate of the Foreign Affairs Police Department of the Central Police University and a master of the Central Police University's Institute of Crime Prevention and Control. Taipei Branch, Taipei Municipal Government Police Bureau Wenshan No. 1 Branch, Datong Branch, Wanhua Branch, and Xinyi Branch, etc., and the director of the Police Communications Office of the Police Department of the Ministry of the Interior.

In her speech, Gao Hongan not only congratulated the new Zhang Suling, but also thanked Guo Shijie for his hard work in the past, and successfully promoted the police work.
