On Monday, January 16, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace, speaking in the House of Commons, confirmed the supply of Challenger 2 tanks, guns and armored vehicles to help Ukraine.

This is reported by the British publication the Guardian.

"Today I can announce the most significant package of military aid to accelerate Ukraine's success. This includes a squadron (12-14, - TSN) of Challenger 2 tanks with armored recovery and repair vehicles. We will give Ukraine AC-90 guns. This is a battery of eight guns of high readiness and two more batteries at different levels of readiness," British journalists quoted the minister's statement as saying.

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain confirmed the statement of the minister Ben Wallace, releasing a video of the Challenge 2 main battle tank "doing what it does best".

As part of a package of significant combat power to accelerate Ukrainian success, the UK will send a squadron of Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine.
