Partners and allies must continue to provide support so that Ukraine can completely defeat the occupiers on the battlefield.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which was published today, January 16.

"The West will need to help Kiev in the long term, even if Russia's offensive in 2023 fails, as the Kremlin is still preparing for a protracted war.

The states that are part of the anti-Putin coalition should act quickly and not delay in making important decisions," analysts say, adding that Moscow has not given up on its maximalist goals, despite colossal losses and failures on the battlefield.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General

Jens Stoltenberg

stated that Ukraine needs to be provided with the weapons it needs for victory, and the risk of Russia using nuclear weapons is low.

"We are in the decisive phase of the war. Difficult battles await us. Therefore, it is important to provide Ukraine with the weapons it needs to win and continue to be an independent nation. Military support for Ukraine is the fastest way to peace," he said.
