Xu Yuanqi, Section Chief of the Parking Operations Section of the Transportation Bureau, said that the continuous Spring Festival holiday will start from January 20 to January 29, and the toll parking spaces in New Taipei City will be suspended on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day; February 4 (Saturday) ) is to make up for working days during the Spring Festival holiday, which is regarded as a weekday. The city’s weekday and daily toll road sections will be charged as usual, and holiday toll road sections will not be charged.

According to the New Taipei City Traffic Accident Tribunal, the payment deadline for traffic violation notices that expire during the Spring Festival holiday (from January 20 to January 29) will be automatically extended to January 30 (the ninth day of the Lunar New Year); For cases under the jurisdiction of Beishi and the due date is during the Spring Festival, the payment can be made on the working day of January 30.

Li Zhongtai, director of the adjudication office, said that during the Spring Festival, if you hold a three-segment barcode red slip or adjudication letter and pay at the counter of the supermarket, you must still pay according to the deadline printed on the notice. The original payment barcode will become invalid after the deadline. The Judgment Office has opened multiple collection channels to pay traffic violation fines. People can use electronic payment apps (BeebePay, Line Pay Money, Orange Pay, Yuanta Bank APP, Jiekou Pay, Tesco Shopee, Yongfeng Bank Payment Network) , supervision service network, etc., or pay fines at major supermarkets using multimedia machines.
