Lin Qinrong said that the actual construction progress of the main project of Kaohsiung Station ACL212 has reached 74.31%. At present, the work area is carrying out construction operations such as commercial offices and hotel buildings, ceiling steel structure hoisting, and underground station structure. Today, the 11th floor located in the southeast side of the station center is selected. Check the hotel building.

The focus of the inspection includes paying attention to the risks of falling, collapsing and electrocution on the construction site, and implementing the alcohol test before going to work, and alcoholic drinks should not be present.

Lin Qinrong is very positive about the implementation of occupational safety and health in the station work area and the introduction of intelligent face recognition access control production. He also hopes that the project will be completed as scheduled in October 2025, and the zero-work safety record will continue to be maintained before completion.

Lin Qinrong further mentioned that after the opening of Zhandong Road, the travel speed from Tongmeng Road to Qixian Road (about 2 kilometers) in the north-south direction increased slightly by about 8.6%, maintaining a D-level service level. In addition to the 24-hour dispatch of police and the extension of traffic relief for half a year to July 3 (112), follow-up measures will also be taken to improve driving sight distances at turning sections, draw colored pavements for guidance, and install technological law enforcement equipment.

The Public Works Bureau stated that due to factors such as construction period, type of work, environment, and labor variability, the underground railway Kaohsiung Station project has higher occupational risks for workers than other buildings. Therefore, it has conducted about 160 inspections with the Labor Inspection Office since the start of construction, and has suspended work for 5 times , Penalty 25 times.
