"We do not record an increase in groups of Russian and Belarusian troops in the immediate vicinity of our border. Today, the number of Russian troops on the territory of the Republic of Belarus is about 11,000 troops.

The head of the State Border Service noted that the number of enemy troops changes every day, because now the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are rotating, namely the 2nd motorized rifle division will enter the territory of the Russian Federation, in the Voronezh and Belgorod regions, and the 6th motorized rifle division will replace it.

Deineko also commented on the announced Russian-Belarusian air training.

He noted that on January 15, 8 units of aircraft were transferred from the Russian airfields of Voronezh and Kursk to Belarus: 6 Su-34 bombers and 2 Su-30 SM multi-purpose fighters.

The total number of airplanes and helicopters on the territory of Belarus is now about 50, they are mostly concentrated at 2 airfields: Machulyshchi in the Minsk region and Baranovichi in the Brest region.
