A 31-year-old VAZ driver and his two daughters were killed in an

in Odesa region .

The 23-year-old wife and another 5-year-old daughter were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

This was reported in the press service of the Odesa police.

The accident happened on January 16 between the villages of Trapivka and Zarichne.

The driver lost control on the rounded part of the road, drove into a ditch and collided with a tree.

"The driver and his 2-year-old and 7-year-old daughters died of their injuries before the ambulance arrived, and the 23-year-old wife and another 5-year-old daughter were admitted to a local hospital in serious condition," the message reads.

The grandmother died on the spot.
