The Longxing Police Station of the Zhongli Police Branch of the Taoyuan City Police Department recently assisted the health unit in investigating the missing and confirmed patients. He relies on his 67-year-old wife surnamed Liu to make ends meet by collecting waste. Recently, the old man was diagnosed with Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19). His wife has to take care of the old man and also has to work. The candles are burned at both ends, and life is stretched.

Zhang Juncheng, the deputy director of the Longxing Institute, learned about the situation of the Li family, and contacted the "Wan Ling Fu Temple" Digong Temple in the jurisdiction. He heard from Huang Shuiyuan, the director of the Wan Ling Fu Temple who is enthusiastic about public welfare, and agreed to give it to the family of a centenarian. Police officers including Wu Juntong, Hong Zhewen and Zheng Yuxun from Longxing Station went to Houlong Street, Zhongli District with Huang Shuiyuan to care for the centenarian, and presented rice, instant noodles, dry food, canned food, quilts, blankets and other daily necessities to the old man. He and his wife were both surprised and delighted when they saw the temple administration and the police officers coming to give them warmth. They repeatedly thanked the police and the temple administration for their hard work, and praised the police and temple administration as "modern land owners."

Huang Shuiyuan said that he usually cares and visits the elderly living alone in the Digong Temple on a regular basis, and provides appropriate assistance.
