The number of people killed as a result of a Russian missile attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro on January 14 has increased again.

As of 8:51 a.m. on Sunday, January 15, 20 people are known to have died.

Earlier,

17 victims were reported.

The head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Valentin Reznichenko reported this in Telegram.

"20 innocent victims..." Reznichenko wrote.

The head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that the police and the State Emergency Service continue to search for the missing -

at least 37 people.

"As of this morning, we know about 20 dead, among them - 1 child, 73 people were injured, 38 people were rescued, including 6 children - they were pulled out from under the rubble and from the destroyed sections of the building that did not collapse. The Russian rocket destroyed 72 apartments peaceful residents of Dnipro. 164 apartments were damaged. Now it is necessary to resettle the residents of at least 236 apartments - that's more than 400 people who lived in this building and nearby," he wrote.

We will remind, on January 14, an explosion rang out in Dnipro: an enemy missile hit a residential building. 

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced on the air of the telethon that the Russians hit the Dnieper with an Kh-22 missile.

And the launches were from Kursk and the Sea of ​​Azov region.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that all those involved in the attack on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14 will be held accountable.
