[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] This year marks the 70th anniversary of the alliance between the United States and South Korea. The two sides held artillery live-fire drills at the South Korean base. It can be seen that the K9 self-propelled gun and the M777 towed gun fired fiercely, and the target area was devastated.

According to "YTN" reports, a total of 420 soldiers from the Artillery Unit of the 28th Infantry Division of the South Korean Army and the South Korean-American Joint Division participated in the exercise, using South Korean-made K9 self-propelled guns, KH-179 towed guns and American-made M777 towed guns. U.S. and South Korean artillery conducted joint fire after sharing target locations.

During the process, you can see South Korean soldiers launching M777, or the US military stationed in South Korea participated in the process of K-9 ammunition supply, which made the joint training more effective.

The United States and South Korea expanded the scale and scope of outdoor joint military exercises in the first half of this year, including the resumption of division-level landing exercises and Ssangyong exercises.
