Congress leader Rajni Patil on Sunday said the "Bharat Jodo Yatra" led by Rahul Gandhi will reach Jammu and Kashmir on January 19 and conclude with a massive rally here on January 30.

He said that the Jammu and Kashmir administration has assured all possible cooperation in view of the yatra.

Congress's Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Patil told reporters that Rahul Gandhi would reach Lakhanpur on the Punjab-Jammu border on January 19.

He said that a flag hoisting ceremony will be organized there to welcome the former Congress President, after which Rahul Gandhi will reach Satwari Chowk in Jammu via Lakhanpur via Kathua, Samba, where a public meeting will be held.

Patil said that Rahul Gandhi will reach Banihal from Jammu via Udhampur and then he will reach Pantha Chowk in Srinagar via Anantnag.

The Congress leader said, "After Rahul Gandhi's padyatra in the valley, a big rally will be held here."

We are getting calls from many people to participate in the rally.

We need a huge ground to accommodate so many people.

Patil said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter to 23 leaders of different political parties from across the country inviting them for the rally.

"Leaders from Jammu and Kashmir who have accepted the invitation and will attend the yatra include Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah (National Conference), Mehbooba Mufti (PDP chief), M.Y.

Tarigami (CPI-M) and Muzaffar Shah (ANC)." Patil said Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut would also attend the rally.
