[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] After 20 "reporting to party members" symposiums across Taiwan, Lai Qingde, the Democratic Progressive Party chairman candidate, posted a post on Facebook this evening, calling on party members to enter the polling stations tomorrow (15th). Let the DPP start again.

Lai Qingde pointed out that the participants included senior party members who have supported the party for a long time since its founding, as well as young partners who joined the party recently. Among them, men, women, old and young, regardless of party age, whether they hold party positions or not, all uphold the heart of protecting Taiwan. Zhong bluntly said, "This is the best proof that everyone will not give up and work hard with the DPP with actions."

Lai Qingde said that dissatisfaction with the authoritarian system in the past was the driving force for the DPP to advance together with Taiwan; but now sincere self-examination is the source of progress for the ruling DPP. Internally, all Party officials must remember the original intention of founding the Party and strictly abide by discipline; externally, they will strengthen their ability to lead issues, take care of the weak, and jointly resist the expansion of authoritarian forces, so that the DPP can regain the trust of the people.”

Lai Qingde appealed to all party members: "Tomorrow is the polling day for the by-election of the party chairman. Every vote cast by the party members is to support the future DPP. They must be more united, cultivate the younger generation, and be the backing of the ruling team to respond together. Challenges at home and abroad. I sincerely ask all party members to walk into the polling place tomorrow, so that the DPP can regroup and start again!"
