The village of Antonivka near Kherson is under fire every day.
The Russians are launching drones, using mortars and "Hradi" against civilians there.
In less than four months of deoccupation, half of the human settlements there have already been destroyed by Russian shelling, TSN reports.
The village became famous thanks to the Antonivsky Bridge - it was the only connection between the left and right banks of the Dnieper.
Thanks to its destruction, the occupiers could no longer deliver ammunition and provisions, which made it easier for our armed forces to liberate Kherson.
However, now this place is under constant enemy fire, the occupiers are 800 meters from here.
The local school was already fired upon, and a store burned down in the center of the village.
Whole streets were destroyed by the raids: trees were felled, windows were broken in houses, some houses were left in ruins, some had roofs removed or walls collapsed.
Despite this, pensioner Ivan Adriyovych wrote these words on his mutilated gate with chalk: "Don't break Ukrainians."
"I come here to look after my yard.
House, dog, cats, three chickens - sitting closed in the barn.
Because if you let them out, they will kill you," says the man.
Due to broken wires, the village has been without power for a long time, the generator at the "Point of Invincibility" saves the day.
They survive thanks to volunteers, everyone who needs the most basic things: bread, cereals, pasta, canned goods.
"Kyiv is lucky, and there is a lot of western luck.
Ukraine helps us.
They bring it from Odessa.
We are very grateful for this," local volunteers say.
The only rule: it is forbidden to gather in queues here, in order to avoid mass casualties in case of sudden shelling.
"Here we issue rations, which are then delivered to homes themselves.
Because we don't gather people here, our quartermasters take everything to their homes," the volunteers add.
Despite the war, Ukrposhta did not stop here either.
The office is closed, but the postman goes to the houses.
"The weak walkers are left, they need their pensions brought home," says the postwoman Ludmila.
Village headman Serhiy Serhiyovych says that six people have already died in the Antonivska community, and dozens have been injured.
"Mortar fire every day.
50 percent of the houses were destroyed.
They stupidly search for people, just locals.
They survived everything here during the occupation, and now they are here... People are holding on because they believe!
They believe that everything will be fine, they believe and pray for the Armed Forces.
That the Armed Forces will solve all our problems.
There will be light, water and gas.
And I hope - everyone should understand this.
", says the man.
In half-ruined Antonivka, out of a population of 13,000, there are only 3 left, and they, even in the face of mortal danger, are not afraid to hang a blue-yellow flag over their homes.
