Currently, there is a threat of new missile attacks by the Russian army on Ukraine.

It is because of this that the regions warn of possible power outages.

In some regions, they have already started turning off electricity outside of the schedule.

Emergency blackouts have already been introduced in Odesa and the region.

Schedules agreed on Saturday are no longer valid, DTEK "Odeska Elektromerezhi" reported.

Emergency blackouts are also used in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

"This is a forced preventive step that will avoid significant damage to the energy infrastructure if enemy missiles reach the target," DTEK emphasizes.

Vitaliy Koval, the head of the Rivne OVA, emphasizes that due to the missile threat, it is important to relieve energy consumption in the region.

"Unscheduled power outages are possible. I ask everyone to reduce the consumption of electricity right now," he emphasized.

Vitalii Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr OVA, asks residents to turn off all unnecessary electrical appliances.

"Be prepared for emergency power outages," he stressed.

In turn, the mayor of Zhytomyr warned that the city's electricity supply may be cut off.

"Please stock up on water, do what is necessary while time allows, and be sure to go to the shelters," Serhiy Sukhomlyn asks.

Serhii Gamalii, head of the Khmelnytskyi OVA, also urges people not to ignore the "alarm".

"In the absence of light, you can use Points of Invincibility," he emphasized.
