Russia shows no signs that it is ready to end its
military aggression
against Ukraine.
This was stated by UN Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs Rosemary Dicarlo, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, reports
Ukrinform
.
She noted that it will soon be a year since Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine.
"The war in Ukraine is approaching its one-year anniversary, and the end of the fighting and suffering is not in sight. Throughout the holiday period, the armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to strike key Ukrainian cities," said Dicarlo.
She reminded that Ukrainians were forced to spend the recent Christmas holidays in bomb shelters.
Russia did not stop shelling, despite the fact that it itself announced the end of the war on Christmas.
We will remind, earlier publicist and political scientist Mykhailo Sheitelman said that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin
started a war against Ukraine as part of the implementation of plans for a great war for the restoration of the USSR
.
In addition, we previously reported that according to the results of a survey by the Atlantic Council think tank, 46% of foreign policy experts expressed the opinion that by 2033
Russia could become a state that did not exist
, or simply disintegrate.
