Defenders of Soledar from the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed footage of the city's defense and talked about the fierce battles there.

This was reported in the press service of the brigade.

It was noted there that after almost half a year of unsuccessful attempts to storm Bakhmut, the Russian occupiers moved their combat activity to Soledar from the beginning of 2023.

In this way, the enemy seeks to divert media attention from its failures in the Bakhmut direction.

. Attention - every second, weapons - either in constant use or in constant readiness. The regular change of enemy tactics required the flexibility of the action algorithm of our units. The key to successful actions was the universality of servicemen.

," the report says.

The 46th brigade added that many of its soldiers had passed baptism of fire in Soledar, so the defenders withstood these extremely difficult tests with dignity. 

It is noted that the fighting on the outskirts of Soledar continues.

We will remind, despite the statement of the command of the Russian occupiers about their capture of Soledar, the fighting for the city continues.

First of all, the lies of the enemy were officially refuted in the Armed Forces.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders of the city recorded a video message from there on the afternoon of January 13 and reported certain successes.

Let's add that the day before, the President's Office promised that Soledar's defenders would receive additional armored vehicles, shells and small arms.
